Wefurb Refund Policy

At Wefurb, we aim to provide a transparent and fair refund process for customers purchasing refurbished devices from our website. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are applicable, how they are processed, and the available refund methods.

This policy applies only to purchases made directly from Wefurb.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be approved in the following cases:

  • The product is returned in accordance with our Return Policy
  • The device is found to be faulty or defective after inspection
  • The order is canceled within the applicable cancellation period 

All refunds are subject to inspection and approval by Wefurb.

How Refunds Are Processed

Once a refund request is approved, Wefurb processes the refund based on the original payment method, the refund type, and the availability of the refund channel. Where applicable, customers may also be given the option to choose an alternative refund method.

1. Debit / Credit Card Payments

  • Refunds are issued to the same card used at checkout
  • Processing time is typically 7–14 business days
  • The final crediting time depends on the customer’s bank or card issuer

If a card refund cannot be completed due to banking or payment gateway restrictions, Wefurb will contact the customer to arrange an alternative refund method, such as bank transfer or store credit.

2. Cash on Delivery (COD) & Bank Transfer Refunds

For orders paid via Cash on Delivery or refunded via bank transfer:

  • Refunds are processed via bank transfer
  • Customers may choose to receive their refund via bank transfer or store credit
  • Customers must provide accurate and complete bank account details
  • A 10% processing and handling deduction applies to all bank-transfer refunds

If a bank transfer cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete bank details
  • Rejected or failed transfers
  • Bank or compliance restrictions

The refund will be processed as store credit.

3. Store Credit Refunds

Store credit may be issued when:

  • The customer selects store credit as the preferred refund method
  • A bank transfer cannot be completed
  • An alternative resolution is required

Store credit:

  • Is issued as a voucher code or account balance
  • Can be used for future purchases on the Wefurb website
  • Is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash
  • Cannot be converted into a cash refund once issued or used

Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are initiated only after the returned device is received and inspected
  • Customers are notified once the refund has been processed
  • Processing timelines exclude weekends and public holidays

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in cases including, but not limited to:

  • Missing accessories or original packaging
  • Physical or cosmetic damage not reported at the time of return
  • Signs of misuse, tampering, or unauthorized repair
  • Repair, cleaning, or restoration costs required after inspection

The final refund amount is determined after inspection.

Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are non-refundable, unless required by law:

  • Shipping and delivery fees
  • Promotional discounts or voucher values
  • Fees charged by third-party payment providers

General Conditions

  • Refunds are processed only after successful inspection and approval
  • Wefurb reserves the right to refuse a refund if return conditions are not met
  • Refunds are considered complete once processed from Wefurb’s side
  • Wefurb is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or incorrect customer information
  • This policy should be read together with our Return Policy and Warranty Policy
