Wefurb Warranty Policy

At Wefurb, we are committed to providing reliable and certified refurbished devices. As an authorized and legally certified refurbished devices seller, every device sold by Wefurb undergoes a professional refurbishment, testing, and quality assurance process before being listed for sale.

All refurbished devices purchased from Wefurb come with a 12-month limited warranty, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Warranty Coverage Period

Wefurb provides a 12-month limited warranty on all refurbished devices sold through our website.

The warranty period begins from the date of delivery of the product to the customer, as confirmed by shipment tracking or delivery confirmation.

What Is Covered Under Warranty

The warranty covers hardware and functional defects that occur under normal usage conditions during the warranty period. Covered issues include, but are not limited to:

  • The device does not power on or shuts down unexpectedly
  • Touchscreen or display malfunctions not caused by physical damage
  • Speaker, microphone, or camera malfunctions
  • Charging port or power-related issues
  • Button malfunctions, including power, volume, or home buttons
  • Software or system issues that prevent the device from functioning normally

All warranty claims are subject to technical inspection and approval by the Wefurb team. Coverage applies only if the defect is confirmed to be internal or manufacturing-related and not caused by external factors.

What Is Not Covered Under Warranty

The warranty does not cover issues arising from the following conditions:

Physical & Accidental Damage

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cracked, broken, or damaged screens
  • Frame, housing, or body damage
  • Damage caused by drops, impact, pressure, or mishandling

Liquid Damage

  • Water exposure or moisture damage
  • Corrosion or internal damage caused by liquids

Cosmetic Wear

  • Scratches, scuffs, dents, or discoloration that do not affect device functionality

Battery & Consumables

  • Battery health degradation due to normal usage
  • Consumable components that naturally wear over time
    (unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed during inspection)

Unauthorized Repairs & Software Issues

  • Repairs, modifications, or part replacements performed by third-party technicians
  • Rooted, jailbroken, or altered devices
  • Issues caused by third-party applications or unauthorized system updates

Other Exclusions

  • Accessories such as chargers, cables, or earphones
  • Loss or theft of the device
  • Devices not purchased directly from Wefurb
  • Loss or corruption of personal data

Any device found to fall under these exclusions will not be eligible for warranty service.

Battery Coverage Disclaimer

All batteries installed in Wefurb devices are tested and verified before sale to ensure proper functionality.

However, batteries are consumable components, and performance degradation over time is considered normal wear and tear. Battery replacement or repair is covered under warranty only if a manufacturing defect is confirmed during technical inspection.

Screen Issues

Screen-related issues are covered under warranty only if:

  • There is no physical or liquid damage
  • The issue is caused by an internal defect, confirmed during inspection

Screen damage resulting from accidental impact, pressure, drops, or mishandling is not covered under warranty.

How to Raise a Warranty Claim

If you experience an issue with your device during the warranty period, you must initiate a warranty claim by following these steps:

  • Visit the “Raise a Claim” page from your account or the website footer
  • Provide your order number or valid proof of purchase
  • Submit clear photos or videos clearly showing the reported issue
  • Follow all instructions provided by the Wefurb support team

Failure to provide complete or accurate information may delay or invalidate the warranty claim.

Inspection & Resolution Process

Once the device is received by Wefurb:

The device will undergo a technical inspection. If the issue is approved under warranty, Wefurb may, at its discretion:

  1. Repair the device, or
  2. Replace it with the same or an equivalent refurbished model, or
  3. Offer a refund if repair or replacement is not possible

The final resolution method is determined solely by Wefurb, based on inspection results and product availability.

Replacement Policy

  • Replacement devices are refurbished units, not brand-new products
  • Replacement does not reset or extend the original warranty period
  • The remaining warranty continues from the original delivery date

Shipping & Handling

  • Customers must securely package the device before shipping
  • Shipping responsibility may vary depending on the nature and approval of the claim
  • If a claim is rejected or no fault is found, return shipping charges may apply

Data Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for backing up all personal data before sending devices for warranty inspection or service.

Wefurb is not responsible for any loss, deletion, or corruption of personal data during inspection, repair, or replacement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Wefurb is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Wefurb’s total liability is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the product
